Brokerage and Broker Management
Managing Brokerages and Brokers in AI Insurance allows you to do the following:
Document: Record details about brokerages and brokers, like their business information and commission rates.
Track: Record and report Brokerage and Broker commissions across individual policies and your entire business.
Pay: (Coming Soon): Soon, you'll be able to generate payments for brokers, enhancing your ability to track and monitor their earnings.
The tools to manage your Brokerages and Brokers can be in the Company Settings page of the AI Insurance application. You can access this page by clicking your company's name per the image below:
The Brokerages Tab
In this section of the app, you're able to view a list of your Brokerages.
Adding a Brokerage:
To add a brokerage, just click the "Add Brokerage" button. Then, you'll see a pop-up window where you can create a new brokerage.
Editing a Brokerage:
Click the button highlighted below and edit the Brokerage's information.
Viewing a Brokerage:
When clicking on a Brokerage, we surface the following information, including a list of Brokers.
Adding a Broker:
Click the "Add Broker" button. This lets you include brokers in a brokerage.
Note: Brokers are initially added with a standard commission percentage based on the brokerage's settings, but you can adjust this to match each broker's specific commission percentage.
Viewing a Broker:
After clicking on a Broker, you can see more information about them.
Note: In this page, you can also change the Broker's Brokerage if they've switched companies.
Brokers and Policies
Attaching a broker to a policy
During policy creation, you're able to both attach a pre-existing broker or create a new broker. When a broker is linked to a policy, the policy automatically gets the broker's default commission. However, you can still change this commission manually if there's a special agreement for that policy.
